I think the answer might be in tapping international markets - coampanies overseas that want to crack the U.S. market. Market to these folks that you're the expert in helping foreign comapnies tap into the U.S. market. that's what I'm trying to do, so I'll let you all know how it goes!

Hi Ed,

I understand exactly what you're saying. Bob Bly, Clayton Makepeace and others in your stratosphere have commented similarly on this topic. I have many loyal, long-term customers, but I haven't cracked the six figure ceiling yet. I have, thankfully, cracked the high five-figure ceiling, but I want more! So I still have the same question no one has yet answered.

Despite the opportunity being there - somewhere - where does one actually search to find these clients?

Let's face it. The market is flooded with so-called writers, the average buyer buys on price alone and mediocrity has become accepted. A quick trip down the Information SuperHighway proves it. Yes, I know there are tons of companies who need top-notch writers and who won't settle for less. But where are they? Where does one look to find them? What is the magical formula you and other top writers use to seek out...and land...the cream of the crop? Do I have to follow Pete Savage's direct marketing strategy to get there? Is there any other way?

These are the questions that keep me up at night. :)
